Breakaway is an exciting and challenging weekly opportunity to impact 10-15 year old kids in the Elora-Fergus community through sports activities. Every week from 7-8pm. at two locations, youth participate in sport programming. The night ends with the last 10 minutes involving a high impact talk about issues relevant to their lives, specifically designed to develop integrity and moral character in these youth.

 

                       

The Breakaway program started October 7th and will run till March of 2010.

 Emergency Waiver --> Parents are required to complete and sign a waiver of release which includes any pertinent medical information and emergency contacts for each child participating in Breakaway programing. These forms are brought by the leaders to each event in case of emergency.

 Prizes

Prizes are given out on a weekly basis when youth have collected enough points. These points are earned by completing the take home sheets each week and bringing them back the following week.  This incentive program allows youth to pick a smaller prize each week or save up their points for a larger prize.

Prizes include: gum, candy bars, sports equipment (soccerballs,footballs, basketballs) Guelph Storm Hockey tickets, Ciniplex movie passes & more items to be announced.
