Outreach & Evangelism
Developing Fully Devoted Followers of Christ… Around the World!

What would happen if we each commit our lives to being the hands and feet of God? Elora Road Christian Fellowship is on a mission to find out! From training pastors and feeding children to marriage coaching and media development, ERCF, its members and its partners are serving across the globe in an effort to impact the world with the love of God.

Partnering with local initiatives and a variety of ministries around the world, ERCF is actively sharing the Word in a number of ways:

  •      Through Intercede International, an organization that trains and supports indigenous Christian evangelists and ministers to reach those within their own culture
  •      Serving with The Door in downtown Fergus as it finds creative ways to guide and encourage teens to godly living through drop-in programming
  •     Partnering with a marriage ministry in Egypt that provides courses and seminars on building healthy, God-centred marriages
  •      Through Everroad Family Minstries, which engages in teaching and compassion ministries in Mexico
  •      Uniting with Pamoja Ministries in Tanzania to translate and distribute Christian literature to over 70,000 pastors and individuals ministering in Eastern Africa . Through Pamoja, we also help to create audio and visual resources in Swahili that churches in Tanzania can use to teach their communities about God and Biblical values
  •      Training future Kenyan pastors and Christian leaders through Bukuria Bible College
  •      Joining together with Open Doors to support persecuted Christians worldwide

Three important truths we need to learn to be effective in communicating the Good News with others:

I.    Understanding God’s Love for People

“Long ago, even before he made the world, God chose us to be his very own through what Christ would do for us… His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by sending Jesus Christ to die for us.   Ephesians 1:4-5 (LB)

“God was in Christ, restoring the world to himself…”  2 Corinthians 5:19a (LB)

II.    Developing a Heart for the Lost

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."        Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)

“Because we loved you, we were happy to share not only God's Good News with you, but even our own lives. “  1 Thessalonians 2:8 (NCV)

III.    Discovering Ways I Can Reach Out to Others

Jesus prayed to the Father: “As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.”    John 17:18 (NIV)

“You are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light..”   1 Peter 2:9 (NLT)
