Stand. Reach. in Love. 2018

We are living in a time of cultural confusion as we see dramatic changes in morality being pushed into mainstream society, impacting topics like:

  • gender identification
  • protection of our children
  • freedom of speech and parental authority

Many of us find ourselves not knowing how to respond appropriately.

The Stand. Reach. In Love Conference will point to both a biblical and scientific view of sexual gender identification, and the believers’ response of love, respect, and care.

The events of the weekend will clarify the real issues, and teach us how we, as Jesus followers, must respond.

David Gillies

David Gillies

Husband, father, brother and son… David Gillies spent a significant portion of his life as part of the LGBTQ community. Called back to his faith through a vivid and unshakable vision of walking with and being mentored by the apostle Paul, David returned to school, found the woman that God meant him to spend his life with and began a family.

David soon began to question the direction society was moving in. Seeing that truth was being subverted by feelings and emotions, David has become an outspoken and fierce defender of truth and free speech. Years of life experience in the LGBTQ lifestyle, surviving and conquering intense child abuse, working in the developmental and behavioural field, as well as raising four young children has given David a distinct perspective and a mission to protect the most vulnerable group of people in our society… Our children.
